STHREE’S INNOVATIVE USE OF SOFTWARE & TECHNOLOGY

28/05/2015
SThree’s innovative use of software & technology

International recruitment company SThree is celebrating after winning several awards, including the Overall Project of the Year, at the prestigious 2015 Real IT Awards.

SThree’s Project Looking Glass beat off the challenge of IT projects from major companies including Virgin Media, Royal Mail, Toyota and John Lewis to be named the Overall Project of the Year as well as picking up the awards for Turning Data into Insight and Innovation in Technology.

Let’s see what our people have to say about this great achievement.

Speaking after the event SThree’s Chief Technology Officer Lance Fisher was delighted with the win which he said gives SThree a potentially vital edge in finding candidates for roles, "This award is fantastic recognition of SThree's commitment to the innovative use of software and technology. Project Looking Glass is all about giving recruiters at SThree the best tools to give them a competitive edge in the market. The tool automatically skill codes and job codes candidates on our global database and fast-tracks CVs for our consultants’ attention so they can fill roles faster. It's a simple idea but one that can have an enormous impact for clients and candidates."

IT Project Delivery Manager Jonathan Bukht welcomed the award as recognising SThree’s commitment to supporting their recruiters and growing the business, "When you work in a fast moving industry like recruitment every advantage you can get helps, so we're delighted that others externally have recognised how important this Project is. It's been a team effort to deliver Project Glass and means SThree and all its specialist recruitment brands can now deliver a better service to high quality candidates by fast-tracking their CVs for the right roles for them."

SThree's Chief Executive Officer Gary Elden also commented on this fantastic win, "These awards show how innovation is in SThree's DNA and why we are at the top of the recruitment game. We don't rely on the same resources as the rest of the industry but invest in developing our own systems and solutions."

The Real IT Awards are a recognition of ingenious approaches and extraordinary achievements of corporate IT. This year 116 submissions were received, judged by 48 leading CIOs and IT professionals.

We are very proud that our achievements have been recognised by fellow IT peers and will continue to strive for excellence in the use of software and technology to give our people the competitive edge in the market.
