Finalist for Best Candidate Engagement Initiative 2019:
It is an honour for SThree to be nominated under the category of Best Candidate Engagement Initiative this year. This demonstrates the proven value our in-house candidate engagement initiative The Contract Blueprint Program has had across the business in terms of candidate engagement and retention. A customer’s interaction with an individual recruiter drives over 60% of their total satisfaction with any placement. This formed the basis of our initiative as we wanted to equip our consultants in delivering a more bespoke service for our candidates and an overall more efficient candidate experience. The following demonstrates how we have gone about this and the steps we have taken to achieve better overall candidate engagement.
With over 45 consultants at SThree – ranging from trainee to director levels were involved in the contribution and making of this programme. This evolved towards a more customer focused approach and more effective communication with candidates.
This included some of the following modules;
- Contractor Monitoring
- Negotiation, Extension and On Boarding of contractors
- Following the interview process and aftercare service
- Using innovative recruitment platforms such as Showcaser and Talentdeck
- Enhancing customer experience within the market
The introduction of the Net Promoter Score was a great way for us to measure feedback on the Contract Blueprint program. It also helped to ensure that we could hear from each successful candidate upon them starting in their new role. This helped us to streamline our processes and make it more efficient for future candidates.
Beyond that, in order to help our candidates stand out from competitors’, we ensure that they have three job opportunities lined up in the instance that they are unsuccessful in securing their first role or having their contract extended. This has also prompt us to keep track of our candidates’ preferences and ensuring that relevant candidates are notified of similar opportunities when they become available.
Through the learnings and feedback from our Contract Blueprint Program, we have really improved on our candidate engagement and retention efforts, which has led to us receiving recognition in this year’s SARA awards.
SEEK Awards 2019:
We are really looking forward to this year’s SARA, it is sure to be a great event just like last year – and reaching this year’s final stage wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our clients and candidates. As well as this, we would like to extend our gratitude to the SEEK judging panel, for recognising our work within the recruitment industry. Each and every consultant here at SThree Australia is committed towards positive improvements in terms of candidate engagement, and it is their hard work which has got us to the position we are in today.
