We spoke to two of their candidates to find out how Melanie and Vladimir have assisted them in changing their careers for the better.
Helping our candidates achieve a work-life balance
Coming back from a maternity break, Judy, one of Vladimir’s candidates, was eager to reinstate her career. Thanks to the support she received from our Hong Kong team she’s now working for an investment bank within the compliance sector, a job that allows her to balance her career and her family life.

According to a price and earnings report conducted by UBS, Hong Kong ranks fifth among 72 countries when it comes to the yearly working hours per country; and that’s just one of the reasons why Judy knows about the value of a healthy work-life balance.
“We spend a lot of time at work which means that a job needs to bring some sense of satisfaction. It’s also important to be in an environment that shows respect for individuals’ needs both inside and outside of work,” Judy concludes.
Supporting our candidates to find the right job in the right company
One of Melanie’s recent candidates now also holds a new role which took him to the next level of his career within the insurance sector.
“Working with Melanie has helped me tap into a pool of opportunities which I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to utilise and pursue,” he explains. “This new job is very different from my previous role where I had a niche position in a massive organisation. Now I’m working a broader position in a smaller company which gives me a lot of exposure to senior management helping me further shape my career and understand the company strategy.”
