On 25th of October more than 40 members of our Paris team, from recruitment consultants to business support functions, gathered together to encourage our clients to support SOS Children’s Villages France, SOS Villages d'Enfants.
The day started with a presentation from Anne Decressaint from SOS France. Later in the day, all SThree volunteers called their clients, from SMEs to Blue Chip organisations, to book meetings for the charity.
A successful day
Altogether our France team contacted more than 70 clients and eight meetings were organised. We also received a great deal of information requests from our customers, so no doubt more new partnerships for SOS Children will emerge.
To spice up the day, we also organised a challenge to reward our teams and gave away prizes including an iWatch and a gastronomic restaurant experience for two.
Our partnership with SOS Children’s Villages
SThree and all our offices across the world are in their eighth year as a ‘Transformational partner’ of SOS Children’s Villages who work in 124 countries supporting orphaned and abandoned children. To date, we have raised over £830,000 for SOS Children’s Villages and aim to hit a target of £1m by 2018.
Marie Broad, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at SThree, explains: “We encourage employees to take on their own fundraising initiatives, whether that’s a marathon or a cake sale in the office. When employees take on personal challenges to raise money, the company matches their fundraising up to a total of £50,000 per year.”
