“I joined Computer Futures twenty years ago today. I was placed on the permanent team as a trainee recruitment consultant on the Java market.
"At the time there were four senior consultants and three rookies on the team. After six months in the business, three of the seniors on the team left the business in the same week. I had a choice - sink or swim? I decided to swim with my six months experience!
"I worked long hours and made a ton of mistakes, but learned from them. I made 94 placements in that financial year. Over the years I have been promoted to consultant, senior, principal and now senior principal consultant. I’ve moved markets a few times but most of my time has been spent placing software developers. I’m honoured to have placed over 1000 people into permanent jobs in Ireland.”
20 years is a fantastic achievement and gives Rachel a unique perspective on the company and how it has changed over time.

But one thing that hasn't changed is how Rachel feels about her work.

When she’s not at work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her fabulous family - husband Finno and beautiful 8-year-old daughter, Brooke. She also loves to cook and enjoys the odd spa day with her sister.
“Being a full-time working mom has its challenges, but I am also very passionate about showing my daughter what you can achieve if you do something you love and work very hard at it.”
