Information Technology (IT) is responsible for the technology infrastructure and utility services, including:

  • Network infrastructure and storage

Information Management (IM) is responsible for the exploitation of our information assets and provide Application Management, Business Analysis, Data management and Development services
The delivery teams within IM include:

  • Sales – providing cutting edge tools and services for our recruitment consultants.
  • Online – design & development of our web presence
  • Back Office – support out HR, Learning & Development, and Finance functions.
  • Business Intelligence – Enterprise wide reporting and information analysis

Project Management (PM)

Quality Assurance (QA) protects our production environments through:

Case Studies:

Carlos Farinha - Network Infrastructure Analyst

Born in Portugal where he studied electronic engineering and started his career. He moved to Angola in 2002 where he managed an ISP and enjoyed Africa's warm weather. In 2007 he moved with his family to the UK where he joined SThree. Carlos is a highly respected Cisco specialist, but over the last 3 years has evolved his skills to develop a number of key infrastructure services for the business.

Shahnaz Hussain - Security Manager

Shahnaz joined SThree in 1998 after graduating from University with a Computer Science degree. Her first role was as a Helpdesk Analyst working in the IT department. Since then she has had 2 promotions and in her current role of Security Manager she ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the business systems and data assets. She assists the Business with evidence gathering from our internal systems. Working with other parts of the wider business to ensure that security, contingency and auditability are built into new systems and applications. The role includes developing, maintaining and ensuring compliance with our security policies. Also developing, maintaining and testing our business continuity plans (covering data backups, system redundancy, disaster recovery etc.) to ensure compliance to audit, quality and security standards. Since working for SThree she has had 3 children and has been able to balance work and home successfully.
